This Advanced Pistol Clinic is perfect for those that have taken Basic and Intermediate Pistol Courses with additional practice and posses advanced pistol handling, manipulation, marksmanship and proficiency. This course is for those that have their own firearm and the gear requirements must be fulfilled. This course is range time only held at theEvergreen Sportsmen's Clubof Olympia, WA. Targets and other training materials are supplied, only 8 spots per class.  

Requirements for this Class:

• Pre-registration is required online $120 
  
• Bring a personal semi-pistol - Must be a compact size (3.5" barrel or larger) of a center-fire caliber 
  
• Must have prior pistol handling proficiency - this is not a beginners course understanding and proficiency in:
  
  • Fluid handling and manipulation 
  • Reloads
  • Malfunction Identification / Clearing 
• Must not be a prohibited person from possessing / buying firearms
• 450 Rounds of ammunition for personal pistol - Ball or FMJ type
• At least 2 magazines for the pistol (the more mags, the better)
• A QUALITY hip type holster - Preferably  OTWB kydex, plastic. Nylon neoprene, etc. HGLY discouraged. Please wear pants with a belt to provide proper retention for the holster and firearm.  (NO SERPA, Uncle Mikes, Please)
• Mag Pouch (double or single)
• Eye and ear protection ​​- Electronic ear pro highly recommended.

Join Lock and Load Em Instructors in the next step up from our Basic Pistol Course in the Intermediate Pistol Clinic.  This class consists of all range time focusing on shooter assessment to refine pistol handling and shooting skills, accuracy and consistency improvement, fundamental building and shot refinement. The perfect refresher course for anyone that has taken our Basic Pistol Course and wants to come back out with the crew for more trigger time and instruction.  This is not a beginners course, prior pistol shooting experience recommended.  Class price is determined by bringing a personal firearm and ammo or borrowing ours, all ammo provided. 

Requirements for this Class:

• This course fulfills the requirement to apply for the highly sought after Utah CFP in only a few hours' time.

The Utah Concealed Firearm Permit is highly desired by non-residents of the State of Utah due to the reciprocity recognized by other states making it a very popular multi-state permit.  Must be 21 years old to apply, photo ID required.

Masks are 100% required, ALL classes will be held OUTDOORS (indoor event prohibited) in small group sizes with more than adequate distancing and increased sanitation protocols. Ranges are covered, portable heaters may be used. If /when class status changes are required, you will be notified ASAP with options regarding the implemented changes.
AMMO:
We understand how incredibly difficult ammunition is to find and procure at the moment.  We are struggling too and substantially increasing operating costs as a result. We also understand that we cannot train without ammo, we are doing our best to provide the majority of ammo to our students at training. There has been a class fee increase as a result. If you would like to donate to the “ammo fund” the day of class cash is greatly appreciated. This goes directly back to procuring more ammo for our students to train. Our most popular course offering taught for women by women; the Ladies Only Basic Pistol is a one-day event consisting of hands-on training concluding with live-fire. This course covers everything pistols and revolvers starting at square one to develop safe, responsible, and smart shooters. We boast a huge variety of different demo firearms for all students to handle and test-fire, plus substantial of range time.  The biggest feature of our classes is the amount of trigger time you get and how much you will actually shoot!  This isn't just a magazine or two & you're done. We know there are different training objectives of our students, our goal to identify each student's objectives so that we can fulfill that goal and provide the best introduction to the shooting sports. All experience levels welcome

The Youth Firearms Safety Seminars are very structured, controlled, and fun.  Focusing first and foremost on general firearm safety,students assigned to an instructor on the range by age group(s) learning safe and proper gun handling on .22 lr rifles and pistols.  Older age groups may be allowed some centerfire as well, subjective to instructor's discretion. This 4 hour seminar will work on the rifle and pistol range under strict instruction and supervision. 

Requirements for this Class:

• Pre-registration is required online $75
  
• Minimum age is 6 years old and older - exceptions with instructor / parent approval
  
• All students will be handling and using our demo firearms unless prior to class, parent (s) have approval by head Instructor. (Send an email or call to discuss)
  
• All training materials, firearms and ammo provided
• Parental consent - must be completed in verbal and written agreement for minors to handle firearms.
• ​Youth sized ear protection is highly recommended for proper fit, we have a few loaner pairs but it is always encouraged to provide these for your youth.

Our Coed Basic Pistol is a one-day event consisting of hands-on training concluding with live-fire.
